May 30th is only 6 days away - which means only 6 more days until Mike and I are off to Malawi. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind of planning, packing, buying, fundraising, organizing and visiting. I can't believe how fast time has gone by, making our departure date that much more daunting. The excitement and nerves have gone into overdrive - and I have to say, this has only been possible with the amazing friends and family that have come forward with their support.
This blog will be used to reach out to you and fill you in on every aspect of our time in Malawi. It is a thank you for the time and effort you have given to help both fundraise and prepare us for this opportunity. I hope I will be able to be diligent in my posts and in providing as much information as possible - possibly entertaining you for a short time every once in a while on what Mike and I are up to as well.
